Honda ATC90 1973 Parts & Accessories

First introduced in 1970 as the US90 and renamed the Honda ATC90 (All-Terrain Cycle) in 1973, this iconic machine effectively launched the popular three-wheeler and modern ATV industry. Designed by Honda engineer Osamu Takeuchi to provide a year-round, low-cost recreational vehicle capable of navigating mud, sand, and snow, the ATC90 relied on balloon-like, ultra-low-pressure 22x11-8 tires instead of traditional suspension components to cushion the ride. Powered by a reliable, fan-assisted air-cooled four-stroke engine derived from Honda's horizontal step-through series, the machine featured a 4-speed transmission with a dual-range sub-transmission (giving eight forward speeds) and an automatic centrifugal clutch, making it accessible to riders of all skill levels.
