Honda TRX650FA 2004 Parts & Accessories

Introduced in 2003 as Honda's luxury utility-recreational flagship ATV, the Honda FourTrax Rincon 650 (TRX650FA) represented a major shift in quad engineering by bringing automotive-style transmission and suspension systems to the ATV market. Powered by a longitudinally mounted, semi-dry-sump 649 cc single-cylinder engine, the TRX650FA featured an automotive-style 3-speed automatic transmission utilizing a hydraulic torque converter rather than a traditional belt CVT. Coupled with Honda's first-ever fully independent rear suspension (IRS) on an ATV, radial tires, TraxLok 2WD/4WD selection, and an output-shaft-mounted rear hydraulic disc brake, the original Rincon focused heavily on rider comfort, high-speed trail compliance, and smooth power delivery.

Updated for the 2006 model year and continuing in production, the second-generation Honda FourTrax Rincon 680 (TRX680FA) increased engine displacement to 675 cc and added Honda's PGM-FI electronic fuel injection system. These modifications delivered improved low-end torque, instant throttle response, easy cold starting, and enhanced fuel economy. The chassis was further upgraded with dual front hydraulic disc brakes, an enlarged air intake, dual spark plug cylinder head architecture for cleaner emissions, an updated digital instrument cluster with integrated fuel metering, and reinforced double-wishbone suspension components.
