Honda XL650V TRANSALP 2004 Parts & Accessories

Introduced in 2000 to replace the original XL600V, the Honda XL650V Transalp was a significant evolution in Honda's middleweight dual-sport adventure lineup, produced through 2006. Featuring an enlarged 647 cc 52° V-twin engine borrowed from the NT650V Deauville, the XL650V brought improved low-to-mid range torque, updated bodywork, enhanced road-oriented suspension tuning, and refined wind protection. Known for its exceptional reliability, comfortable ergonomics, and smooth engine character, the XL650V Transalp served as a versatile long-distance touring bike equally capable of handling light gravel trails and urban commuting.

• 647 cc liquid-cooled SOHC 6-valve 52° V-twin engine producing 52 HP (39 kW) @ 7,500 RPM and 40 lb-ft (54 Nm) torque @ 5,500 RPM
• Dual 34 mm Keihin CV carburetors with digital transistorized ignition and electric start
• Steel tube cradle frame with integrated engine guards and plastic skid plate
• 41 mm Showa telescopic front forks providing 200 mm (7.9 in) wheel travel
• Pro-Link single Showa rear shock absorber with adjustable preload providing 172 mm (6.8 in) wheel travel
• Dual 256 mm hydraulic front disc brakes with twin-piston calipers and a single 240 mm hydraulic rear disc brake with a single-piston caliper
• 5-speed manual transmission with wet multi-plate clutch and chain final drive
• 21-inch front (90/90-21) and 17-inch rear (120/90-17) spoked aluminum rims with dual-sport tires
