Honda XR250 1980 Parts & Accessories

First introduced in 1979 and comprehensively redesigned in 1984 and 1996, the Honda XR250R is one of the most celebrated and long-lived four-stroke trail and enduro motorcycles in off-road history. Renowned for its bulletproof reliability, low-end torque, and forgiving handling, the XR250R featured Honda’s innovative Radial Four Valve Combustion Chamber (RFVC) engine design. Across its lifespan, the model continually evolved—transitioning from dual carburetors to a single large carburetor, updating chassis mounts to integrate the swingarm pivot for higher rigidity, and refining suspension components to remain a quintessential choice for recreational trail riders and clubman enduro competitors until its retirement in 2004.
