Honda XR80 1983 Parts & Accessories

First introduced in 1979 as the successor to the XR75, the Honda XR80 (later designated the XR80R) served for decades as a premier entry-level trail bike and youth training platform. Famous for its bulletproof reliability, smooth power band, and manageable ergonomics, the XR80 featured a mini-four-stroke single-cylinder engine that provided beginner riders with an accessible introduction to manual clutch and gear operation. Over its long production run extending through 2003—before transitioning into the modern CRF80F—the XR80 evolved from dual rear shocks to Honda’s Pro-Link single-shock rear suspension while retaining its core air-cooled mechanical simplicity.
