Founded in 1921 in Mandello del Lario, Italy, by Carlo Guzzi and Giorgio Parodi, Moto Guzzi is the oldest European motorcycle manufacturer in continuous production. Celebrated for its rich racing heritage—including 14 Grand Prix World Championships and a legendary 500 cc V8 race bike—the brand revolutionized motorcycle design by constructing Europe's first motorcycle-specific wind tunnel in 1950. In 1967, engineer Giulio Cesare Carcano designed Moto Guzzi's defining architectural masterpiece: the air-cooled, 90-degree transverse V-twin engine with a longitudinal crankshaft and shaft final drive. Now operating under the Piaggio Group umbrella, Moto Guzzi continues to manufacture all of its motorcycles at its historic Lake Como facility.

• V-Series (V7, V9, V11, V100): Core roadster and sport bike designations denoting engine displacement (e.g., V7 = 750 cc class, V100 = 1000 cc class)
• TT: "Tutto Terreno" (All-Terrain) — Dual-sport and adventure-touring designations (e.g., V85 TT)
• Le Mans: Flagship cafe racer and supersport models named after the famous French endurance race track
• California: Cruiser and touring line developed originally for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD)

• V7 Special / Sport (1967–1974): The foundational model line that introduced Moto Guzzi's signature transverse 90° V-twin engine, engineered by Lino Tonti with a lightweight steel frame that could exceed 120 mph.
• V7 Classic / Stone / Special / Special Edition (2008–Present): Modern neo-retro roadster series powered by an air-cooled 744 cc (later upgraded to 853 cc) 90° V-twin with shaft drive, classical styling, and modern ABS/traction control.

• MGS-01 Corsa (2004–2011): Ultra-exclusive, track-only superbike powered by a 1,225 cc air-cooled 4-valve V-twin producing 122 HP, wrapped in carbon fiber bodywork and Öhlins racing suspension.
• V100 Mandello (2022–Present): Next-generation sport-tourer featuring the "Compact Block" 1,042 cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine (115 HP), adaptive aerodynamics with motorized winglets, and semi-active Öhlins suspension.
