Suzuki GSX-R400F 1986 Parts & Accessories

First introduced in 1984 as the pioneer of Suzuki's race-replica revolution, the Suzuki GSX-R400 was the first model to bear the iconic GSX-R badge—predating the legendary GSX-R750. Engineered to dominate Japan's ultra-competitive 400 cc sports bike class, the model evolved across several major technical generations during its 12-year production run (1984–1996). Early models (GK71B/GK71F) utilized lightweight aluminum double-cradle frames and liquid- or liquid/oil/air-assisted cooling (SATCS), before shifting to rigid aluminum twin-spar frames, "Slingshot" carburetors, and upswept 4-into-2 exhausts in the late 1980s. The ultimate iteration—the 1990–1996 GSX-R400R (GK76A)—introduced upside-down (USD) front forks, an aluminum double-cradle beam frame, and refined aerodynamics, establishing itself alongside the Honda CBR400RR and Kawasaki ZXR400 as a peak expression of JDM 400 cc racing engineering.
