Suzuki JR50 1997 Parts & Accessories

Introduced in 1977 and produced through 2006, the Suzuki JR50 was Suzuki's long-running entry-level youth off-road motorcycle designed specifically for beginner riders aged four to eight. Built to provide a gentle, manageable learning platform, the JR50 was powered by a reliable 49 cc two-stroke single-cylinder engine paired with a single-speed automatic centrifugal clutch transmission, eliminating the need for manual clutch or gear operation. Key safety and ergonomics features included an adjustable height frame and shock system that allowed the bike to grow with the rider, a throttle limiter screw to regulate top speed, and Suzuki's automatic oil injection system (CCI) to prevent the need for pre-mixing gas and oil. Remaining virtually unchanged for nearly three decades, the JR50 served as a foundational training bike for generations of youth riders before being superseded by four-stroke youth models like the DR-Z50.
