Suzuki TC185 1974 Parts & Accessories

Manufactured through the 1960s and 1970s as trail and dual-sport derivatives of Suzuki’s T-series road bikes and TS-series dual sports, the Suzuki TC Series ("Trail Cat" / "Ranger") was Suzuki's family of dual-range off-road/street bikes. Anchored by small-to-mid-displacement models such as the TC90 Blazer, TC100 Blazer, TC120 Cat, TC125 Prospector, and TC185 Ranger, the defining technical hallmark of the TC line was its sub-transmission gear system. This secondary transfer gearbox allowed riders to flip a hand- or foot-operated lever to engage a "Low" range (effectively doubling gear ratios for extreme off-road climbing and low-speed trail riding) or "High" range for standard street commuting. Equipped with Suzuki's CCI automatic oil injection, high-swept exhaust pipes, engine skid plates, and spoked off-road wheels, the TC series established a benchmark for versatile dual-ratio dual-sports.

• Transmission System: 3-speed, 4-speed, or 5-speed manual main transmission paired with a dual-range (High/Low) transfer sub-transmission yielding up to 6, 8, or 10 total forward drive ratios
