Suzuki TM250 1973 Parts & Accessories

Manufactured from 1971 through 1975, the Suzuki TM Series was Suzuki's first dedicated line of production motocross racing motorcycles. Capitalizing on Suzuki's World Championship motocross victories with legendary riders Joel Robert and Roger DeCoster, the TM series bridged the gap between dual-sport trail bikes and purpose-built competition racers. The lineup was anchored by the infamous TM400 "Cyclone," an open-class machine notorious for its explosive power delivery and unpredictable electronic CDI advance curve, alongside the mid-weight TM250 "Champion". Built with chrome-molybdenum or tubular steel frames, high-mounted swept exhaust pipes, minimal bodywork, and lightened engine internals, the original TM machines laid the structural groundwork for Suzuki's highly successful RM series that replaced them in 1976.

Expanding the platform to cover youth and lightweight competition divisions, the Suzuki TM Small-Bore Range (TM75 / TM100 / TM125) was introduced between 1972 and 1974. Highlighting the lightened TM75 "Mini-Cross," the TM100 "Contender," and the highly competitive TM125 "Challenger," these small-bore racers brought authentic motocross geometry and power characteristics to junior and entry-level racers. Featuring scaled-down double-cradle steel frames, lightweight aluminum rims, high-rpm piston-port or reed-valve two-stroke engines, and manual multi-speed gearboxes, the small-displacement TMs provided young riders with a direct path into organized motocross scramble racing.
