Yamaha DT175 1990 Parts & Accessories

Introduced in 1968 with the groundbreaking DT-1, the Yamaha DT series revolutionized off-road motorcycling by creating and defining the mass-market trail bike category. Designed to bridge the gap between street-legal commuters and dedicated dirt racers, the lineup featured lightweight two-stroke single-cylinder engines spanning from 50 cc to 400 cc. Incorporating iconic innovations over its long production history—such as Yamaha's Autolube oil injection, Torque Induction reed valves, and long-travel Monoshock rear suspensions (MX series)—the DT line set the universal standard for versatile, reliable, and accessible dual-sport performance.
