Yamaha FZ6N 2006 Parts & Accessories

Introduced in 2004 as the successor to the FZS600 Fazer, the Yamaha FZ6 (also known as the FZ6 Fazer) served as a highly versatile middleweight street bike. Powered by a liquid-cooled 600 cc inline-four engine retuned from the 2003 YZF-R6 for enhanced mid-range power, it was available in both semi-faired and naked (FZ6-N) configurations. Built around a die-cast aluminum controlled-filling frame with a signature underseat exhaust system, the FZ6 evolved across its production run to include fuel injection refinements, updated bodywork, upgraded four-piston front brake calipers, and revised instrument clusters, striking an ideal balance between daily commuting, long-distance touring, and sport riding.

• 600 cc liquid-cooled DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder engine (retuned YZF-R6 architecture)
• Group electronic fuel injection (EFI) with 36 mm throttle bodies
• Cast aluminum controlled-filling twin-spar frame
• 41 mm telescopic front forks (alumite-finished with revised damping starting in 2007)
• Rear Monoshock suspension with adjustable preload
• Dual 298 mm front hydraulic disc brakes (upgraded to 4-piston monoblock calipers in 2007) and single 245 mm rear disc brake (ABS optional on later S2 models)
• Signature dual underseat exhaust system
• 6-speed manual transmission with wet multi-plate clutch
• 19.4-litre (5.1 US gal) fuel tank capacity
