Yamaha FZR400 IMPORT 2TK/3EN 1990 Parts & Accessories

Produced from 1986 to 1994, the Yamaha FZR400 established itself as a iconic lightweight racer replica in the 400 cc supersport class. Built around Yamaha's innovative "Genesis" design concept, it featured a high-revving 399 cc inline-four engine with forward-slanted cylinders for a lower center of gravity and optimal downdraft intake efficiency. Pioneering track-derived engineering for production street bikes, the FZR400 was one of the earliest machines to combine a rigid aluminum Deltabox perimeter frame with low-profile radial tires and Yamaha's EXUP exhaust valve system (on later revisions), earning an enduring reputation for razor-sharp handling and cornering speed.
