Yamaha FZR600 1992 Parts & Accessories

Introduced in 1989 and produced through 1999, the Yamaha FZR600 was a groundbreaking middleweight supersport motorcycle that brought genuine race-replica technology to the masses. Built around Yamaha's "Genesis" engine architecture, its 599 cc inline-four featured 45-degree forward-slanted cylinders to enable straight downdraft carburetors and a low center of gravity. Coupled with Yamaha's Deltabox frame structure and early introduction of the EXUP exhaust valve system in select markets, the FZR600 dominated 600-class production racing through the early 1990s and laid the foundation for the YZF series that followed.
