Yamaha FZS1000 FZ1 2004 Parts & Accessories

Introduced in 2001, the Yamaha FZ1 (originally known as the FZS1000 Fazer in Europe) emerged as the flagship liter-class naked and sport-touring motorcycle in Yamaha's lineup. Early first-generation models utilized a retuned 20-valve inline-four engine from the YZF-R1 housed in a steel double-cradle frame. Redesigned for 2006, the second generation adopted a lighter aluminum twin-spar chassis, fuel injection, and a updated R1-derived engine with a 16-valve cylinder head. Combining superbike-derived performance with upright ergonomics, dynamic handling, and versatile everyday usability, the FZ1 established itself as a benchmark for high-powered all-rounders.

• Fuel delivery via four Mikuni carburetors (2001–2005) or Electronic Fuel Injection with sub-throttle valves (2006+)
• Tubular steel double-cradle frame (Gen 1) or cast aluminum twin-spar perimeter frame (Gen 2)
• 43 mm fully adjustable telescopic front forks (inverted cartridge forks on 2006+ models)
• Rear Monoshock suspension with adjustable preload and rebound damping
