Released in 1981, the Yamaha IT250H (International Trail 250H) represents a landmark evolution in Yamaha's 250 cc enduro racing line. Building on the competition success of the IT series, the "H" designation marked the introduction of Yamaha’s YEIS (Yamaha Energy Induction System) torque booster to the 246 cc air-cooled two-stroke engine, significantly enhancing low-to-midrange power delivery. Housed in a lightweight chrome-moly steel frame with long-travel Monocross rear suspension, gold-anodized DID rims, and signature sky-blue bodywork with a headlight and tool bag, the IT250H was widely praised as one of the most capable and balanced open-class enduro bikes of its era.
