Yamaha MT-01 2008 Parts & Accessories

Introduced in 2005 and produced through 2012, the Yamaha MT-01 was an unconventional, high-displacement naked muscle bike that combined cruiser engine dynamics with sportbike chassis engineering. Serving as the flagship origin of Yamaha's MT ("Master of Torque") series, it featured a massive 1,670 cc air-cooled 48-degree V-twin engine adapted from the XV1700 Road Star Warrior, re-engineered for higher revs and mounted within a rigid die-cast aluminum frame. Sporting underseat twin exhausts, inverted front forks, and radial-mount brake calipers borrowed from the YZF-R1, the MT-01 delivered a distinctive, high-torque riding experience focused on immediate roll-on power and striking industrial design.
