Introduced in 2014 (originally launched as the FZ-07 in North America), the Yamaha MT-07 quickly became one of the most popular middleweight hyper-naked motorcycles on the market. Central to its success is Yamaha's "Crossplane Concept" 689 cc parallel-twin (CP2) engine, renowned for its linear torque delivery, punchy acceleration, and distinct exhaust note courtesy of a 270-degree crankshaft. Built around a lightweight tubular steel diamond frame, the MT-07 combines compact dimensions, intuitive handling, and accessible upright ergonomics, offering an exceptionally fun and versatile ride for beginners and experienced riders alike.
