First introduced in 2018, the Yamaha Niken is a radically innovative three-wheeled sport-touring motorcycle powered by a high-torque crossplane-concept inline-triple engine. Utilizing Yamaha's proprietary Leaning Multi-Wheel (LMW) steering technology, the Niken features a unique dual-tube upside-down front fork setup on each side of its double front wheels, allowing the machine to lean up to 45 degrees in corners while offering vastly increased front-end grip, stability, and braking confidence. Designed for spirited sport riding and long-distance touring across changing road conditions, it pairs sports bike handling dynamics with the unique road-holding security of a multi-wheel chassis.

• 847 cc liquid-cooled DOHC 4-valve 4-stroke inline 3-cylinder engine (crossplane crankshaft concept) producing 113.5 HP @ 10,000 RPM and 64.5 lb-ft (87.5 Nm) torque @ 8,500 RPM
• YCC-T (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle), electronic fuel injection, and D-MODE selectable riding power modes
• Hybrid diamond-type frame combining steel tubular sections and a cast aluminum swingarm pivot area
• Dual-tube upside-down telescopic front forks (dual front wheels) with adjustable compression and rebound damping; 110 mm (4.3 in) wheel travel
