First introduced in 2016 following the original 125 cc model, the Yamaha Tricity 155 and Tricity 300 represent Yamaha’s urban multi-wheel mobility platform designed to deliver exceptional stability and traffic-busting agility. Built around Yamaha’s proprietary Leaning Multi-Wheel (LMW) front suspension technology, both models utilize twin front wheels linked via parallelogram cantilevers to deliver maximum front-tire grip across uneven surfaces, wet asphalt, and city tram lines. While the lightweight Tricity 155 serves as an accessible commuter featuring a fuel-efficient 155 cc Blue Core engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), the larger Tricity 300 expands highway capability and long-distance comfort with a 292 cc Blue Core engine, Standing Assist tilt-lock mechanism, and unified ABS braking systems.
