Yamaha TRX850 1997 Parts & Accessories

Introduced in 1995 for the Japanese market and released in Europe for 1996, the Yamaha TRX850 was a sports motorcycle designed to offer an accessible, characterful alternative to European V-twin cafe racers. Its defining engineering breakthrough was the introduction of a 270-degree crankshaft in its 849 cc 10-valve parallel-twin engine—making it the first production motorcycle to feature a 270° firing order, which replicated the off-beat power pulses and linear torque profile of a 90-degree V-twin. Wrapped in an exposed steel trellis frame with a sporty half-fairing and low-slung ergonomics, the TRX850 achieved lightweight, precise handling and a distinctive exhaust note.
