Produced from 1997 through 2007 by Belgarda (Yamaha's Italian subsidiary), the Yamaha TT600R was a hard-core, lightweight dual-sport and off-road competition motorcycle. Designed as a stripped-back, pure trail alternative to the heavier XT600 dual-sports, the TT600R featured a high-compression 595 cc single-cylinder engine housed in a rigid frame with long-travel, competition-grade suspension components—including massive 46 mm Paioli front forks and an Öhlins rear monoshock. With no battery, kick-start only ignition, and lightweight bodywork, it became a cult classic for off-road enthusiasts and rally raiders seeking big-bore four-stroke torque and extreme durability.
