Yamaha TX750 1973 Parts & Accessories

Introduced in 1972, the Yamaha TX750 was Yamaha's ambitious entry into the large-displacement four-stroke touring category, designed as a smooth, high-torque alternative to competing multi-cylinder machines. Its technical centerpiece was the "Omni-Phase" balancer system—a pair of counter-rotating chain-driven shafts in the sump designed to neutralize vertical and rotational vibrations inherent to parallel-twin engines. Housed within a double-cradle steel frame, the TX750 featured automotive-style plain bearings, dry-sump lubrication, both electric and kick starting, and progressive safety electronics such as brake pad wear indicators. Despite its refined power delivery and advanced feature set, early production models suffered from thermal and lubrication issues around the balancer system, leading to a short production run that concluded in 1975.
