Yamaha VMX-12 VMAX 2000 Parts & Accessories

Introduced in 1985, the Yamaha V-Max (later designated VMAX) is an iconic power-cruiser motorcycle famed for its drag-strip acceleration and muscle-bike styling. The original generation (1985–2007) featured a liquid-cooled 1,198 cc DOHC 70-degree V4 engine equipped with Yamaha's "V-Boost" induction system, which opened butterfly valves between intake manifolds above 5,750 RPM to boost high-rpm output to 145 horsepower. In 2009, Yamaha completely redesigned the platform with an all-new 1,679 cc 65-degree V4 engine producing 197 horsepower, paired with an aluminum chassis, ride-by-wire electronics, and YCC-I variable intake funnels. Produced through 2020, the VMAX cemented a legendary legacy as one of the most powerful and aggressive production cruisers ever built.
