Yamaha WR450F 2008 Parts & Accessories

First introduced in 2003 to succeed the WR426F, the Yamaha WR450F is a flagship high-performance enduro and cross-country racing motorcycle. Derived directly from Yamaha's championship-winning YZ450F motocross platform, the WR450F pairs open-class 450 cc power with enduro-specific tuning, including wide-ratio 5-speed transmission gearing, electric starting, specialized ECU mapping, a 18-inch rear wheel, and headlight/tail light assemblies. Utilizing Yamaha's signature reverse-cylinder head engine design and bilateral beam aluminum frame, it is widely regarded as one of the most powerful, durable, and versatile open-class off-road machines ever built.

• 450 cc liquid-cooled DOHC 4-valve 4-stroke single-cylinder engine with titanium valves producing approx. 53–58 HP @ 9,500 RPM
• 44 mm Mikuni electronic fuel injection (EFI) with smartphone-tunable Yamaha Power Tuner App integration
• Aluminum bilateral beam frame chassis optimized for off-road flex and stability
• 48 mm KYB speed-sensitive inverted coil-spring front forks with 310 mm (12.2 in) wheel travel
• Fully adjustable KYB rear monoshock with Link Monocross linkage providing 317 mm (12.5 in) wheel travel
