Yamaha XS1100 1980 Parts & Accessories

Produced from late 1977 through 1983, the Yamaha XS Eleven (also designated XS1100 or XS 1.1) was Yamaha's first four-cylinder four-stroke motorcycle. Serving as the company's flagship superbike, it earned acclaim for its incredible straight-line performance and low-maintenance shaft final drive. Powered by an air-cooled 1,101 cc DOHC inline-four engine, the XS1100 introduced innovative "polyspheric" combustion chambers, a rubber-mounted powerplant, and a jackshaft drive with an integrated cush-drive. Known for posting sub-12 second quarter-mile times upon its release, the XS Eleven was available in classic Standard roadster trim, factory-custom "Special" models, and fully outfitted "Venturer" touring configurations, establishing a legendary reputation for high-speed touring and bulletproof mechanical endurance.
