Yamaha XS750S 1979 Parts & Accessories

Produced from 1976 through 1981, the Yamaha XS750 and its enlarged successor, the XS850 (1980–1981), represented Yamaha's celebrated foray into three-cylinder "triple" motorcycles. Dubbed the "Bargain BMW" by contemporary journalists, the XS750 was designed as a refined, long-distance sport-touring machine featuring an air-cooled DOHC 12-valve inline-three engine paired with low-maintenance shaft final drive. In 1980, Yamaha upgraded the platform to the XS850 by increasing engine displacement to 826 cc, beefing up the crankshaft, adding an auxiliary oil cooler, and upgrading the chassis for improved high-speed stability. Both models were available in European touring standard trim or as factory custom "Special" cruisers, earning a reputation for distinctive exhaust notes, smooth power delivery, and exceptional long-distance reliability.
