Yamaha XT250 225CC 2001 Parts & Accessories
First introduced in 1980, the Yamaha XT250 is an iconic dual-sport motorcycle spanning multiple production eras. The original generation (1980–1983) featured a simple air-cooled 249 cc SOHC two-valve engine—famously ridden by Sylvester Stallone in the 1982 film First Blood. The second generation (1984–1990) updated the platform with a DOHC four-valve cylinder head and a 6-speed transmission before giving way to the XT350. Reintroduced in 2008 as the successor to the XT225 (and branded as the Serow 250 in Japan), the modern iteration returned to an ultra-reliable SOHC layout, gaining electronic fuel injection in 2013. Built for nimble trail riding and effortless commuting, the XT250 remains a benchmark for lightweight, low-maintenance dual-purpose performance.
