Yamaha XV750 VIRAGO 1984 Parts & Accessories

Produced from 1981 through 1998, the Yamaha XV750 (Virago 750) was Yamaha's entry into the V-twin cruiser market and one of the world's first air-cooled V-twin Japanese production motorcycles. Designed to establish a new footprint in the American custom cruiser segment, early models (1981–1983) featured an innovative stamped-steel monocoque frame that doubled as an intake air-box, paired with a hidden central monoshock rear suspension and low-maintenance shaft drive. When Yamaha redesigned the lineup in 1988, the XV750 transitioned to a dual-rear-shock configuration with traditional teardrop styling and staggered dual exhausts, establishing a long-running baseline for reliable, high-torque metric cruisers.
