Yamaha XV920 1983 Parts & Accessories
Produced from 1981 through 1983, the Yamaha XV920 (Virago 920 / XV920RH) was an ambitious high-displacement extension of Yamaha's early V-twin platform. Powered by an air-cooled 920 cc 75-degree V-twin engine with low-maintenance shaft final drive, it was offered in two distinct styles: the classic American-cruiser XV920 Virago, and the European-styled XV920RH sport-tourer. The European-spec XV920RH featured rearset foot controls, high-mounted bars, double front disc brakes, and an innovative fully enclosed grease-bathed final drive chain. Both variants utilized Yamaha's early stamped-steel monocoque backbone frame—which doubled as an intake air-box—paired with a hidden central monoshock rear suspension and a pioneering LCD digital instrument cluster.
