Yamaha YE-01 2027 Parts & Accessories

Unveiled at the EICMA show in late 2025, the Yamaha YE-01 Racing Concept is a prototype electric motocross machine developed by Yamaha Motor Company in partnership with French electric trial and off-road specialist Electric Motion (EM). Designed as Yamaha's test bed for future zero-emission competition categories such as the FIM MXEP, the YE-01 integrates high-performance electric powertrain technology into a competition-ready chassis platform sharing dimensions and mass-centralization ergonomics with the flagship YZ450F. A standout feature of the YE-01 is its hydraulic mechanical clutch paired with a liquid-cooled electric motor, allowing professional riders to modulate power delivery, traction, and rear-wheel torque using traditional four-stroke control techniques.

• Liquid-cooled high-output electric motor with specialized inverter and high-voltage battery module engineered for peak motocross power delivery
• Yamaha Power Tuner system integration allowing customizable electric motor mapping, throttle response curves, and regenerative braking control
• Hydraulically-actuated manual clutch system paired with a single-speed direct drive transmission
• Lightweight aluminum bilateral beam chassis derived from Yamaha's YZ-F motocross platform
• Fully adjustable long-travel inverted cartridge front forks with competition-spec damping
• Fully adjustable rear shock absorber with Link Monocross linkage system
• 270 mm hydraulic single front disc brake and 240 mm hydraulic single rear disc brake with racing calipers
• 21-inch front and 19-inch rear spoked aluminum rims fitted with Dunlop competition motocross tires
• Targeted racing wet weight engineered to match traditional 250 cc / 450 cc combustion motocross machines with low center-of-gravity mass distribution
