Yamaha YQ100 AEROX 2002 Parts & Accessories

First introduced in Europe in 1997, the original two-stroke Yamaha Aerox (YQ50 and YQ100) became a benchmark for high-performance sports scooters. Styled with aggressive race-replica bodywork and powered by liquid-cooled or air-cooled Minarelli engines, it earned a massive following among European moped riders and tuner communities. The 50 cc version was factory-restricted to 45 km/h to comply with European moped regulations, but its robust chassis and disc-brake setup made it one of the most popular platforms for aftermarket tuning and performance upgrades throughout its production run.

• Aerox 50 (YQ50): 49.3 cc liquid-cooled Minarelli MA-50 2-stroke single-cylinder engine producing 4.5 HP @ 6,500 RPM (factory restricted)
• Aerox 100 (YQ100): 101 cc forced air-cooled Minarelli 2-stroke single-cylinder engine producing 7.5 HP @ 6,700 RPM
