Yamaha YX600 RADIAN 1986 Parts & Accessories

Produced from 1986 through 1990, the Yamaha YX600 Radian was a mid-displacement standard and entry-level sport motorcycle designed as a budget-friendly, high-performance naked bike. Constructed largely from Yamaha's existing production components, it paired a modified double-cradle steel frame derived from the XJ550 Maxim with an air-cooled 598 cc DOHC inline-four engine taken from the XJ600 and FZ600. Re-tuned for stronger low-to-midrange torque, the Radian produced 66 horsepower while maintaining a lightweight wet mass under 200 kg. Distinguished by its dual rear shocks, dual front disc brakes, lower seat height, and aggressive naked styling, the YX600 offered riders quick 600-class acceleration in an accessible and versatile standard package.
