Yamaha YZ250F 2021 Parts & Accessories

First introduced in 2001, the Yamaha YZ250F is a landmark 250 cc four-stroke motocross motorcycle that revolutionized the quarter-liter racing class. Replacing traditional 125 cc two-strokes in professional competition, the YZ250F introduced high-revving four-stroke power to the motocross mainstream. Across its production lifespan, the model has continually evolved—transitioning from a 5-valve titanium engine design to a high-rpm 4-valve layout, introducing aluminum bilateral beam frames in 2006, adopting Yamaha's signature rearward-slanted cylinder head with front-positioned air intake in 2014, and incorporating wireless ECU smartphone engine mapping via the Yamaha Power Tuner App.
