Yamaha YZF-R7LA LAMS 2022 Parts & Accessories

Announced in May 2021 and released for the 2022 model year, the modern Yamaha YZF-R7 is a middleweight supersport motorcycle built on Yamaha’s popular MT-07 platform. Designed to bridge the gap between the lightweight YZF-R3 and the track-focused YZF-R1 following the discontinuation of the road-going four-cylinder YZF-R6, the 2022 R7 features Yamaha’s 689 cc CP2 crossplane parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crankshaft, delivering linear power and responsive torque. Unlike the upright MT-07, the R7 features a high-rigidity steel frame with aluminum center braces, clip-on handlebars, an inverted KYB front fork, a Brembo radial master cylinder, and ultra-narrow aerodynamic bodywork.

• 689 cc liquid-cooled DOHC 8-valve parallel-twin CP2 engine with a 270° crossplane crankshaft producing 72.4 HP @ 8,750 RPM and 49.4 lb-ft torque @ 6,500 RPM
• Electronic Fuel Injection with 38 mm dual bore throttle bodies
• High-strength steel diamond-type frame with aluminum center braces
• 41 mm KYB inverted telescopic front forks, fully adjustable for spring preload, rebound, and compression damping
• Linked Monocross KYB rear shock absorber, adjustable for spring preload and rebound damping
• Dual 298 mm front hydraulic disc brakes with Advics 4-piston radial calipers and a Brembo radial master cylinder; single 245 mm rear disc (ABS standard)
• 6-speed manual transmission with Assist & Slipper clutch (Optional Quick Shift System for upshifts)
• 17-inch front (120/70 ZR17) and 17-inch rear (180/55 ZR17) 10-spoke cast alloy wheels
