1. Macleay District Motorcycle Club

Macleay District Motorcycle Club is known for its accommodating staff and amazing track. Its track at Greenhill Speedway is 560 metres of oiled loam, and it runs in an anti-clockwise direction. 

It’s also the perfect go-to for your little ripper who’s only starting to twist the throttle. They’ve got foods and drinks available, a viewing area, shower area, powered sites, and toilets available to make sure you’re comfortable the whole time.

 

2. Baulkham Hills Junior Motorcycle Training Club

For a children-only club, Baulkham Hills Junior Motorcycle Training Club is your go-to. This is one of the NSW’s top clubs with over 300 registered junior riders. 

For absolute beginners, they can start at the Minikhana. Its focus is to discipline kids in the art of controlling their dirt bikes. Minikhana is the training ground that the kids have to pass through before they can compete in open class racing. On the other hand, the Dirtx is their multidiscipline championship that involves motocross, short track, dirt track, grass track, and Enduro sprint. 

 

3. Willowbank MX

Another family-friendly dirt bike club we know of is the Willowbank MX. They’ve got a pee-wee track for your little ripper, a junior stadium, an adult stadium, and an MX track where you and your kid can ride together. You will definitely enjoy the bonding moment you have together in their 2 km natural terrain sand track.

If you’re thinking of trying their tracks, you should book online. They have limited capacity so without a booking, you’re not guaranteed admission.

 

4. Phoenix Creek Motocross Park

The Phoenix Creek Motocross Park is literally a family-only motocross and camping park, which means you can’t ride if you’re not bringing any kids. But don’t worry, they’ve got some exceptions such as families with kids that don’t or can’t ride, mature single couples without kids, and those in the Vintage MX scene. They’ve got tracks specifically designed for all skill levels, and a huge space for kids to ride their BMX bikes, mountain bikes, and even use their radio-controlled toys. Your kid will surely be grateful for the unforgettable fun they’re going to have at this park. 

 

5. Geraldton Junior and Senior Motocross Club

Another family-friendly spot we’ve got for you is the Geraldton Junior and Senior Motocross Club. This club is dedicated to coaching and providing training venues for motocross and Enduro riders. The home track is exclusive for members only, however, they’ve got a one-day membership available for those who want to check it out first. 

 

6. WA Ride Park

This is the perfect place for weekend camping and riding with the kids. It has a relaxed atmosphere, so it’s good for when your kids are only starting to learn. You can also turn it into a challenging day when they’re looking for more excitement.

They have a Pee Wee Track and Kids Loop which you can supervise easily from your camp area. For more technical rides, they can also choose the mini trail for kids.

 

7. Goulburn Valley Junior Motorcycle Club

This club has 3 tracks: MX Track, PeeWee Track and Flat Track. It accommodated riders of all ages, perfect for when you and your kids have different riding levels.

 

8. Korumburra Motorcycle Club

Meticulous with your safety? Korumburra Motorcycle Club happens to be rumoured as the safest and most-improved track in Gippsland. They’ve upgraded their jumps and changed the track to ensure that even the smallest junior to the oldest veteran can enjoy and ride their track! How cool is that, right? It’s also a great spot to bring your whole family to, they’ve got foods, drinks, viewing area, water system and toilets too. 

 

9. Mud’n’Tars MCC

Mud’n’Tars have two permanent tracks, the Day Rd Victor Harbour, their dedicated dirt track where their clubrooms are located; and the Range Rd Parawa, their motocross track. 

Their dirt track is similar to a speedway, it’s completely flat (perfect for beginners), on a gritty shale surface. The dirt tracks are usually 450-1,830 metres long. 

You can join their club from here and have access to their foods, drinks, viewing area, and awesome and groomed track. 

 

10. Top End Motocross Club — Campbell Park

When you get there, you should expect to see three tracks available for everyone: natural terrain, motocross, and minibike. Their amenities include a clubroom, spectator areas, and toilets — ensuring that everyone in the family will enjoy every moment spent there. 

For your little rippers, ageing from 4-16+ years old, Top End Motocross Club has got the perfect activities for them! Kids aged from 4-6 years old can participate in recreational activities such as non-competitive events, trail rides, testing, coaching, and demo classes. This is perfect, especially if you don’t have all the time to train your little ripper. You can make them join the club and become a member of TEMCC here.

Luckily, for those who’re aged 7-15 years old, they can now participate in competitive activities wherein you can compete in National, State, and Club events. 

And for Top End Motocross Club’s senior members, don’t worry — you can still get some coaching and participate in both competitive and non-competitive events.
